  I am very surprised to see a number of negative reviews for this Post Shop. I have been a customer there, and at the previous premises, for 15 years and have always found the staff to be courteous, helpful and friendly. Yes it can get very busy but at those times there seems to be a full complement of staff on, so wait times are really not too bad.

  Went to the Queanbeyan post office in January this year to redeem my cheque from Australian post. It was my first time doing it and I wasn't sure what the process was. Giving 2 stars only because the young guy at the counter who first served me was very patient and friendly. But because he was new, he wasn't sure how to process it and had to ask the middle aged female staff next to him for help. She was EXTREMELY rude and kept complaining out loud "why did she write on the back, she isn't supposed to write anything [on the back of the cheque]", as if I wasn't standing right in front of her. Very unprofessional and terribly condescending, I'm sorry I had done the wrong thing but your response was absolutely inappropriate and rude.

  Always found queues to be dealt with quickly & staff always happy, helpful & knowledgeable. Very happy this is my local Post Office.

  Very rude staff. One woman in particular was rude to me for not knowing you can not post particular items. Several times I have been spoken to rudely at this post office by the women there. Its a shame because there is also kind, polite staff there.

  This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I just went to renew my passport and she informed me that my application needs to be printed out on two separate sheets of paper for scanning (because scanners that can’t scan two sides of a sheet of paper don’t exist right). Confused by this I then pointed to the gentleman standing next to me getting his application processed for a new passport with a very similar single sheet of paper. She shrugged at me and then also said my photos are out of date and they need to be 6 months from the date taken. I explained to her my photos were taken at this very post office only 4 months earlier for a job application and they are very much within 6 months, I left discussed and drove to Kinston Post Office where they processed my application without issues. If you are going to lie about the reasons why you don’t want to help me maybe you shouldn’t be in customer service at all shame on you.
